Silk vs Satin: What's better?

What is Silk?

Silk is a natural fibre. Silk is the result of silkworms forming their cocoons and the cocoons being unwinded to produce the threads used to make the fabric.

What is Satin?

Satin is a weave and not a material. A combination of multiple raw materials (nylon, polyester, silk etc), satin is a manmade material.

Note: a fabric can be both silk and satin at the same time!
